Pricing & timelines

What a custom system costs, and how long it takes.

Custom systems from WORTH start at $10,000. The largest run into the mid six figures. Small builds take one to two months, medium builds three to six, and the largest up to a year. You get a quote after discovery, and you see a demo built around your real workflow before you commit to the full build.

These are typical ranges, not packages. Your quote comes from what discovery finds.

What moves the price

  • How much of the business it covers. One workflow, or every workflow that crosses your desk.
  • How many tools it connects to: accounting, email, spreadsheets and your industry software.
  • How much history comes across. Years of workbooks take longer to bring in than a clean start.
  • How provably right it has to be. Validation, traceability and audit trails add work, and they’re worth it when the work is regulated.
  • Where AI does the reading and drafting, with a person signing off and every step logged.
  • Rollout: training, documentation and how many teams go live.

Is it worth it?

The real question isn’t what the system costs. It’s what the bottleneck costs you now.

Say 15 hours of your week wait on you, an hour of your time is worth $250, and the system gets the work done twice as fast. That’s about 375 hours and $93,750 bought back every year. For a critical person spending 30 hours a week in spreadsheets at $100 an hour, it’s about $75,000 a year.

A build that costs less than a year of that time pays for itself in the first year, and keeps paying after that. Run your own numbers.

How you buy it

  1. Discovery. I spend time with you and your team and learn where the work waits on you. You get a blueprint, a quote and an estimate of the time you’ll get back.
  2. Demo build. A demo of your system, built around your real workflow. You see how it will work, then decide: go or no-go.
  3. Build. The full system, with regular demos along the way. Your rules are written into it, and the approvals stay with you.
  4. Delivery. Rollout, training and documentation. You start getting your time back.

What you always get

  • The code, data and infrastructure live in your accounts from day one.
  • Full documentation, so the system is never a black box.
  • Rollout and training for the people who use it.
  • Support when you want it.
  • You work with me from discovery to delivery. The people who learn your workflow are the ones who build it.

Questions about cost

Why a range instead of a price list?

Because the price follows the workflow. Two companies the same size can need very different systems. Discovery is where the range turns into a quote.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with the one workflow that waits on you most. A small build takes one to two months, and the system can grow from there.

Is custom software more expensive than a subscription?

Up front, usually. But you don’t pay per seat forever, you own what gets built, and it fits how you already work. If an off-the-shelf tool fits, I’ll tell you. How to decide.

Do I see anything before I commit to the full build?

Yes. The demo build shows your system built around your real workflow. You see it, then decide whether to build the rest.

Do you work outside Utah?

Yes. WORTH works on-site with clients in Utah and remotely with owners anywhere in the US.
